When it comes to choosing taps for your bathroom, Irish people are more than spoilt for choice. Time was when if you went into your bathroom supplier or hardware merchant in Ireland looking for taps considered exotic or different from the norm, you would receive a vacant stare from the assistant followed by a grunt conveying his impression of you as some sort of deranged idiot. You would then be presented with at most three choices of tap.
Now however, the customer gives the vacant stare and grunts when they ask for taps and are presented with about a thousand options. How things have changed.
We list below the most common types available on the market in Ireland today. They will give you some ideas to go on, but you need to visit a specialist bathroom supplier to acquaint yourself with all that is out there. Design changes every day.
